As from the 24th of January 2005, Delphis’ service portfolio will be revamped and extended. The Polish and Spanish services are upgraded and 2 new weekly connections are introduced on Portugal and France.

Furthermore, Delphis’ expansion in the door-door market will continue with the launch of 45’ container transport between North Europe and Portugal.

• Poland – UK : addition of Felixstowe

A direct connection between Poland and Felixstowe has been added to our existing link between Poland and Hull. On this dedicated door-door service Delphis offers 20’, 40’ and 45’ containers, all palletwide and high cube.

• Poland – Germany : addition of Bremerhaven + vessel upsizing

The MV Meriwa (549 TEU) replaces the MV Smaragden (374 TEU) and is now also calling at Bremerhaven. This weekly feeder service offers an independent, flexible and reliable alternative on the growing Polish market.

• Spain – UK/Continent : addition of Felixstowe

The MV Rheintal (380 TEU) calls at Rotterdam, Bilbao and Felixstowe, linking the UK with our Spanish service.

• Portugal : NEW SERVICE

As from the 25th of January 2005, Delphis will operate the MV Maris (510 TEU) and the MV Volkers (380 TEU) on a weekly service to Portugal. The port rotation will be Rotterdam, Vigo, Leixoes, Felixstowe and back to Rotterdam.

Additionally Lisbon will be covered once a week as well on a separate service.

• Rotterdam – Le Havre shuttle : NEW SERVICE

Rotterdam and Le Havre will be connected weekly with a new shuttle service, leaving from Rotterdam on Wednesday and from Le Havre on Friday. MV Maris (510 TEU) and MV Volkers (380 TEU) will be deployed on this trade.

• Portugal 45’ container : NEW PRODUCT

Together with the launch of the new services, Delphis will offer 45’ door-door container transport from Benelux/Germany to and from Portugal. This new product offers a competitive alternative for road transport and is able to load the same volume as a 13,6 m trailer (33 Europallets).
